Media-analyses-T1-What-else_.pptxShort exercise 1: Media regulations
Each country has more or less different institutions ensuring that media are following professional standards, do not manipulate, and are not serving any personal or political interests (at least public service media). Your task now is to elaborate on how media are regulated in your country or abroad. Write your answers in a document and upload it by using the field below (following files are supported: .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf). Please upload only one file.
Short exercise 2: Opinion and symbolic leadership
Your second task is to list a few opinion and symbolic leaders from your country, your neighbourhood, or abroad. If you know about any such case, please list one example of how they influenced your or public opinion on a certain matter. Write your answers in a document and upload it by using the field below (following files are supported: .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf). Please upload only one file. Afterwards focus on you personally. Think about cases of a cognitive dissonance that the media caused to you.
