In today’s world, the media is gaining in importance. Digital technology is becoming part of our daily routine as it allows us to create our own media world and share it with others. The information is now easily accessible, just a few clicks of a button. There is a need to manage it properly and meaningfully, to have certain skills to use it – all this is media and information literacy. While freedom of expression, for example, freedom of speech is prevalent like never before, it is being abused more and more often than in the past. Those who want to influence society have always used propaganda as a tool. Examples of propaganda can still be found now, as well as misinformation or even crackdown on journalists who spread information unfavorable to influential people.
